Terms of use

Last updated: 5 October 2026

These terms cover your use of morekindred.com and joining Kindred. We’ve kept them short and plain. By joining, you agree to them.

Who we are

Kindred is a crowdfunding programme for community food projects, run by Time4Good Ltd (“we”). You can reach us at hello@morekindred.com.

Joining Kindred

  • Joining is free.
  • You sign in with a one-time code we email you, or with your Google account. There are no passwords. Keep access to your email (or Google account) to yourself, because anyone who can read your email can sign in as you.
  • Please give accurate details about yourself and your project, and join only once, for yourself.
  • You can leave at any time: just email us and we’ll delete your details, as described in our privacy notice.

The programme

  • Joining doesn’t guarantee a place in the cohort, match funding or any other support. We choose the projects in the cohort, and we’ll explain how to apply when applications open.
  • Any match funding is subject to its own conditions, which we’ll share with the projects selected, and to the terms of the crowdfunding site the campaign runs on (such as Crowdfunder).
  • We may change, pause or end the programme. If we do, we’ll let you know by email.

Advice

The crowdfunding advice we share, at sessions, by email or on this site, is general guidance to help you plan. It isn’t financial, legal or tax advice. You’re responsible for your own campaign and the decisions you make.

What you share with us

You keep ownership of anything you tell us about your project, for example in questionnaires or emails. You allow us to use it to run Kindred: to give you advice, choose the cohort and keep you posted. We won’t publish your details or your project’s story without asking you first.

Using the site fairly

Please don’t misuse the site. That includes trying to get into other people’s accounts, interfering with how the site works, sending spam or automated sign-ups, or using it for anything unlawful. We may close accounts that do.

Other services

The site links to services run by others, such as Google Forms for our questionnaires, Google for sign-in, and crowdfunding sites. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.

Our responsibility

We work hard to keep the site running and accurate, but it’s provided as it is, free of charge, and we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. As far as the law allows, we’re not responsible for indirect losses, or for losses caused by things outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have by law that can’t be limited.

Changes

If we change these terms, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. If a change matters for people who’ve joined, we’ll email you.

The law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
